Dear SPR Community,
We are looking forward to seeing many of you in less than three weeks for the Society for Prevention Research’s 33rd Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA! We know that this year is unlike others and that for some it may be more difficult to attend in person. Understandably, the funding uncertainty may give you pause. For these reasons and in the spirit of two of our key values – collaboration and community – we have decided to extend the early bird registration deadline again until Monday, May 26.
We know that more than ever, we must prioritize and nurture the community of prevention science researchers, practitioners, and policymakers that SPR brings together. Our hope is that this year’s conference will not only serve as a mechanism for disseminating innovative prevention science research but will also serve as a catalyst for community building and collective action. For those of you who are unable to join us in Seattle, we hope you’ll consider joining virtually by registering for the live stream.
