Call for Nominations: Editor-In-Chief, Prevention Science

The Society for Prevention Research (SPR) Publications Committee invites nominations for the next Editor-in-Chief of Prevention Science, SPR’s flagship journal. As the journal continues to grow in stature, influence, and impact, we seek a mid-career to senior prevention scientist with an established funding and publication history to guide its editorial direction and steward its ongoing innovation.

Prevention Science has experienced significant growth over the last decade, publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed work that advances scientific understanding and real-world outcomes in prevention. As a leading journal in the field, it plays a critical role in disseminating rigorous research across disciplines and informing practice and policy.

The Editor-in-Chief provides the journal’s intellectual and editorial leadership, overseeing all editorial operations and working closely with the SPR Board, Publications Committee, Managing Editor, and publisher, Springer. The Editor is appointed by the SPR Board of Directors upon recommendation from the Publications Committee and works in partnership with the journal’s publisher, Springer, and the managing editor. This is a unique opportunity to shape Prevention Science’s future and contribute meaningfully to the field and its scholarly community.
