- To be eligible for member registration rates, 2023 membership dues must be current at the time you register. You may join/renew your membership AND register for the conference at the same time.

March 27, 2023: NEW for 2023 conference – Community Partner/Prevention Practitioner Discounted Registration Rates
Community Partner/Prevention Practitioner Eligibility
SPR defines a community partner/prevention practitioner as an individual who collaborates with prevention researchers and/or whose primary professional role is to implement or coordinate prevention-focused programming at the community/local level.
Community partners/prevention practitioners:
- Are not currently employed as researchers or evaluators,
- Do not primarily perform research- or evaluation-related duties as part of their job
- Are not employed by a research-focused organization or university
- Are not employed by a federal government agency
Examples of professional roles that meet this designation include community coalition coordinator; school prevention specialist, teacher, or administrator; community health worker; state extension agents/educators.

March 24, 2023: NEW for 2023 conference – Federal, State, City, County, and local jurisdictions Employee Discounted Registration Rate
SPR offers a special discounted Federal employee (all agencies and military) discounted rate. This rate may also be used by state, city, county, and local jurisdiction agency employees. This rate is not intended for faculty/researcher employees at state, city, county colleges/universities.
The discounted rate is $351. You do not need to be a SPR member to use this rate. The $351 rate is the same regardless of when you register for the conference either online or in person. Please note there are no discounted rates for the pre-conference workshops.

Annual Meeting Registration Rates include
- Entry to all scientific sessions: plenaries, organized paper symposia, roundtable discussions, “20 x 20” presentation, grouped paper sessions, TED-Like Talks, Special Interest Group meetings, SPR Cup presentations and exhibits.
- Morning and afternoon coffee breaks, Tuesday evening Opening Reception, Wednesday and Thursday evening Poster Sessions and Receptions, and Diversity Network Reception.
- Conference Mobile APP. The program schedule will be available on the Conference Mobile APP, in a web-based format with search features, and as a PDF on the SPR website at preventionresearch.org. We bring this to your attention so that you can plan accordingly prior to arriving at the conference.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be received in writing by 5/2/2023, and are subject to a $50 administrative fee. After 5/2/2023, registration fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed after the annual meeting. No refunds will be made for no-shows. A returned check fee of $30 will be assessed for all returned checks.
